Winter Holidays

Note:
  • The Holidays marked with an asterisk (*) are subject to appearance of the moon. In case the event falls on a day other than that notified, specific instructions will be issued by the High Court and timely notice shall, when possible, be given to litigants if the event does not fall on the day already notified.
  • The Civil and Sessions Courts in the Punjab shall observe Winter Holidays from 25th December (Wednesday), 2024 to 01st January (Wednesday), 2025.
  • The Lahore High Court shall observe Winter Holidays from 25th December (Wednesday), 2024 to 08th January (Wednesday), 2025 for the Hon’ble Judges of Lahore High Court and from 25th December (Wednesday), 2024 to 1st January (Wednesday) 2025, for staff of High Court.
  • Every Sunday in a week is a holiday.
  • The long vacation for the Lahore High Court shall be from 1st July (Monday), to 31st August (Saturday), 2024.
  • The Summer Vacation for the Civil & Sessions Courts in the Punjab shall be from 1st August to 31st August, 2024 except at Murree and Kotli Sattian Sub-Division District Rawalpindi.
  • The Civil Courts at Murree and Kotli Sattian Sub-Division District Rawalpindi shall remain closed for annual vacation in the month of January every year instead of August.
